McDonough Wedding: Burkett & West Wedding At Willowick Farm
The Fairy Tale Of Madison & Matt
The way Matt and I met is kind of a funny story. We went to different high schools but we had plenty of mutual friends growing up and never ran into each other or communicated! Matt went into the Air Force right after graduating high school from Luella High School in 2011 and I went straight to college after graduating from Woodland High School in 2012.
In April of 2014 we started communicating through Facebook since he wasn't home due to the military and we began getting to know each other. I flew out to Seattle, Washington where he is stationed after about 6 months to meet him and we have practically been inseparable ever since.
My hobbies have always included horseback riding and spending time with my family. Matt is kind of a kid at heart. Matt has been in the military for 5 years and has deployed 3 times overseas. The first was to Qatar and the last 2 were to Afghanistan which occurred after the time in 2014 when we met. It hasn't been easy for us but it has made our relationship much stronger.
We have a lot in common due to the fact that our personalities are very similar and we are pretty much like
best friends.
We got engaged in Disney world in February of 2015. My absolute favorite place in the world.
Our next step in life is to build our new life and marriage together. We just drove my truck and all of my things from Georgia to Washington state which is where we will be living until the military gives Matt orders saying otherwise. It will be fun and exciting to see where this life takes us over the next 15 years before Matt retires from the Air Force.

I have always been a horse crazy girl (hence the reason I wanted photos with a horse on my wedding day) but I also began taking lessons when I was around 10 years old and was addicted ever since. I took lessons and went to shows for about about 9 years before I got out of high school. I still find ways to ride and volunteer at farms whenever I can. Matt and I hope to have our own farm with horses one day when he gets out of the military.
Last summer is when I worked at Willowick for a short time. It was only for a week to take care of their horses and property while they were at a show but I still had a great time and learned a lot. Our wedding was everything I had hoped it would be and I thought it was perfect from start to finish.
I think you did a fabulous job and I would recommend you to anyone looking for a photographer. Thank you for helping my dream wedding day and pictures come true.
