Wedding Day - Christian and Emily
"Christian and I met a few years ago at a Bible conference through mutual friends. Our paths didn't cross again for a while. It was at a friend's birthday party that we danced and after that started talking more. I don't remember the moment I knew he was the one. I guess it dawned on me slowly. I knew from the start that we were a great pair. Talking to him and getting to know him was so easy. It felt so natural. Like it was just meant to be. The quality I admire most about him is his loyalty and dedication. To God, to me, and to his job. He's all around an amazing man. When I think about my wedding day, my heart beats faster. I was not nervous at all. I'm so incredibly excited that I get to be his wife."
"I guess the best I can describe my vision that I had for my wedding was country/rustic with just the right touch of elegance. I'm a country girl at heart and I really wanted my guests to just have a wonderfully fun time. I wanted the atmosphere to be laid back while still honoring all the old wedding traditions. I chose sunflowers because they're my favorite. They're such cheerful flowers. And I wanted it outside because some of my best memories growing up have been outside- and it's close to God I feel. Was in love with my dress, I wanted to feel like a princess and I did."
“My advice to couples planning a wedding would be communicate. Also don’t get so focused on all the details that you lose sight of what’s really important; Each other” – Emily
